"My mother decided to become a fuller brush lady to help the family income. Even though my father was upset with her about her newest endeavor he felt that it would be good for her to have something to do. That something to do lasted until the late 70’s when they retired from the working world.

I fondly remember  my mother driving to the district office to get the products and then driving all over long island delivering them. When she made a sale she grined like the Cheshire cat (and so did I, It meant Ice Cream !).

While those memory’s are of a past era, the products are not. We still have and use many of the products that my mother sold and while they may be getting a little old (my hairbrush was given to me when I was 16, almost 35 years ago) they all still work as good as the first day I received them.
